This is an image I took in the summer of 2003, our last summer in Cambridge, MA. I was using my Nikon F90 with a rented 24mm f/2.8 AF lens and Tri-X Pan film, which I developed in Rodinal 1+50. This Flickr version is scanned from a print and was toned in PS. (Tri-X and Rodinal give particularly grainy direct film scans, in my hands.)
This photo was one of the first images I posted on Photosensitive.ca when I started the site in 2004. The following summer, this image became the subject of a Photo.net thread about the Tri-X / Rodinal combination, and I continue to get visits through that (now broken) link. So for all you people looking for my Tri-X / Rodinal example — here you go!
