Taken August 2006 in Port Rexton, Nfld. For the next several weeks (probably months) I’ll be posting a lot of B&W images (all shot on 35mm Ilford FP4 Plus and HP5 Plus with my Nikon FG and 24mm lens) from our Newfoundland trip this summer. I have a number of rolls to go through and am looking forward to discovering some hidden treasures. At the same time, I’m trying to work on a more “understated” PS style that doesn’t whack the viewer over the head with blown-out contrast or unrealistic sharpening. We’ll see how it goes.
