Mikvé Israel Synagogue, Willemstad, Curacao

Because my rate of non-baby photo-taking has slowed down to a trickle, I’ve been amusing myself by revisiting old photos in PS. This one is from November 2002 (our honeymoon!) and shows the facade of the Mikvé Israel Synagogue in Willemstad, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles — the oldest continuously operating synagogue in the Americas.

Taken with the Nikon F90 and 28-70mm kit zoom lens on Fuji Sensia slide film. The sky really was blue, but I’m almost sure I used a polarizer for this shot.
